CALIX

Rosemarie Haas - June 23, 2020

What is CALIX? The "Credo" of the society succinctly tells the story: "CALIX is an association of Catholic alcoholics who are maintaining their sobriety through affiliation with and participation in the Fellowship of Alcoholics Anonymous. Our first concern is to interest Catholics with an alcoholic problem in the virtue of total abstinence. Our second stated purpose is to promote the spiritual development of our membership."

The CALIX Society meets on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of each month at 7:00 p.m. The 2nd Tuesday is a devotional meeting in Madonna of Jerusalem Church, 9th Street, Sharpsburg, PA 15215 and the 4th Tuesday is a regular meeting at the John Paul I Center, 201 9th Street, Sharpsburg, PA 15215 at 7:00 p.m.
